3D talks about Mark Stewart (2005)
"My experiences with Mark include going on an early Tackhead tour to Holland - it was fucking hilarious. I was meant to go there and do some rapping but I bottled out. Every night I just got to the gig and went 'fuck this'. I remember Mark must have destroyed every system we played on. He played with a 'faders up' policy. The amount of fights, of sound engineers having to be fended off by the posse to stop them trying to attack Mark or vice versa. It was mayhem... My first memory of Mark, though, was when we did the Wild Bunch against the Rapologists in London in 1983. It was real serious. We had a soundclash on two different stages so you'd take it in turns to try and kick ass. For some reason, everything went wrong for us. Then Mark got on the mic and started screaming, just fucking Screaming. I loved it but their rappers were going 'Get off the mix, man, you can't fucking do that, man', in a fake American accent. They couldn't take it at all. Marks, out there, isn't he? He's the man."
