第二次大戦後、ジャマイカからの移民第一世代であり、1968年にセント・ポールズ・フェスティヴァル（後の〜カーニヴァル）を立ち上げるRoy Hackettによる回想。
Roy moved to England from Jamaica in 1952, hoping to find a land of milk and honey. What he found was racism - he couldn't find a place to live or a job. But he persevered and set up Bristol's first St Paul's carnival in 1968.
