Tape echo is a bristol based web zine covering all aspects of bass music and dubplate culture, athough we are web based, our roots are in the D.I.Y. and zine scene. The internet is the best way of getting our material to the widest audience but we still prefer analog ways of doing things, using the typewriter instead of the mac, playing records rather than mp3's, making our own stickers and brewing our own cofee, all the good things like that.
In short, our small crew provide 100% original content, interviews, photos, mixtapes and whatever else we come across, we get bored reading endless re-posts off other peoples blog just as much as you do... Because of this, we might not have fresh posts ever day, what we do post, you won't find anywhere else.
We bring you interview and mixes from our favorite up and coming producers and visual artists as well as features on the people who hold our scene together, label owners, promoters, bloggers, record stores etc.
